Versatile Under-Cabinet & Task Lighting Solutions

This project showcases the evolution of a highly successful LED linear fixture originally developed for under-cabinet and task lighting applications. Designed with clean aesthetics and installer-friendly details in mind, the product has gone through two major generations based on user feedback and market demand.

Gen 1: SG9 Linear Fixture
The SG9 was the original flat-profile linear lighting solution built for seamless under-cabinet integration.

Key features included:
- A clean wire management system with a dedicated internal wireway
- Mitered corner joints for uninterrupted runs around cabinet edges
- Durable aluminum construction for heat dissipation and longevity
- Slim but functional design that quickly became a popular lighting choice for residential and light commercial environments

Gen 2: Premium Flat Linear Fixture
As the market matured and user needs evolved, a second-generation solution—the Premium Flat fixture—was developed. This new version addressed requests for a slimmer profile while expanding compatibility and increasing light output.
Notable improvements include:
- Slimmer aluminum profile without sacrificing thermal performance
- Support for 8–10mm tape light connectors, making the housing compatible with a broader range of LED tape products
- Available in single-white and tunable-white options for more adaptable lighting control
- Higher output performance, suitable for detailed task zones like kitchen workspaces, workshops, and office millwork

Outcome:
This fixture series exemplifies the balance between thoughtful industrial design and real-world user needs. By iterating from SG9 to the Premium Flat, we preserved what made the original successful while opening new doors for customization, installation ease, and lighting performance.
