LED Tape-to-Tape Connector
This connector was designed in direct response to customer feedback regarding legacy screw-down connectors. The original models often failed to stay securely mounted, and users reported the tape light or wires “walking out” of the terminal over time—especially in tight or vertical installations.

To solve this, a new ramped design was introduced, improving mechanical retention while maintaining compatibility with standard 8–10mm tape lighting. The updated profile retains the screw-down terminal reliability but now features a 3M adhesive backing for secure, lasting adhesion to mounting surfaces.

Key design upgrades:
- Ramp geometry increases friction and guides tape into position for a more secure hold
- 3M adhesive backing improves install stability on smooth or uneven surfaces

Similar to the tape-to-tape version, this tape-to-wire connector evolved from user complaints around wire slippage and weak adhesion in previous connector designs. The goal was to deliver a more secure, installer-friendly component that maintains reliable electrical connection while simplifying layout adjustments.

Using the same improved ramped design and 3M adhesive backing, this version allows users to connect low-voltage wire leads directly to LED tape—ideal for corners, power feeds, or transitions between fixture runs.
